Shop for the freshest crop in town! This time of year is our favorite because you can get locally grown: tomatoes, potatoes, sweet corn, cantaloupe, watermelon, seafood, flowers, plants, baked breads, casseroles, pies, artisianal pastas, cheeses, handcrafted goods and so much more. Stay for live music on the green! Open 7:30:AM - 11:AM, Each Saturday through July 25th, the Farmers' Market on Cathedral Square.

And on Thursdays beginning May 28 there is the Market in the Park Market in the Park. The Mobile Museum of Art in Langan Park is the setting for this Farmers’ Market for West Mobile from 3 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Shop for fresh produce, seafood, honey, baked goods, wine, handcrafted goods and more. One may also stay for live music (free admission!) courtesy of the Mobile Museum of Art during Market hours. Market in the Park will happen through July 23rd, 2009.

The Markets are public initiatives of the Mobile's Neighborhood & Community Services Department designed to provide the freshest and healthiest food choices to its citizens.
