Baldwin County Sewer Service
Public sanitary sewer is better for overall water quality than septic systems. The
Baldwin County Sewer Service system transports wastewater away from the waterways
to treatment plants that return clean water to the environment.
The remaining sludge has been approved by the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) to be used as organic fertilizer for corn that is ultimately fed to various farm animals.
