Blessing of the Animals

Pet owners will have a chance to bless their friends at Earth Day Mobile Bay. An interfaith Blessing of the Animals will take place at 3:00 p.m. at the Pavilion in the Park North of the Pier.


Three leaders of different faiths will have a prayer service for all creatures great and small.

- Rev. Shirley Geer of Unity on the Eastern Shore in Montrose
- Rev. Cleitis Walker, Jr., of the Greater Montrose A.M.E. Church, Fairhope
