at Earth Day Mobile Bay

Auntie Litter will make an appearance at Earth Day Mobile Bay 2009 on April 25 at the Fairhope Pier Park to help educate the community about litter prevention.

Founded in 1990, Auntie Litter, Inc. is a non-profit, national award-winning organization that provides environmental education to the general public, particularly children. Its efforts have been featured on nationally-televised shows such as CNN Headline News and ABC’s Good Morning America. Auntie Litter’s message about the environmental three R’s is pure and simple: Reuse, Reduce Waste, Recycle! The organization sponsors the nation’s largest annual Earth Day parade and celebration for children in Birmingham, Alabama, welcoming over 3,000 children dressed in costumes made of recyclable materials.
